Siemens is launching Intelligence Center X to connect people and AI agents into a productive, production level hybrid workforce across the enterprise

While businesses frequently invest in AI, their scaling ambitions often halt due to data scattered across fragmented systems.

In a new software launch, Siemens is introducing Intelligence Center X, an industrial AI orchestration software designed to help organisations turn industrial AI from isolated experimentation into scalable, real world business impact.

In doing so, the tech company is bringing together human employees and AI agents to work together smoothly, creating a hybrid workforce.

Part of the Siemens Xcelerator digital business platform, the software helps organisations move beyond pilots to operate with speed, control and consistency.

This platform unifies enterprise data and lifecycle context within a single governed system to keep human workers in the loop.

By anchoring these digital assistants to real workflows rather than isolated tasks, teams across the business can finally collaborate with AI securely and with full operational control.

Tony Hemmelgarn, President and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software, says: “Intelligence Center X helps organisations move beyond AI experimentation by embedding intelligence directly into everyday workflows, where it can be governed, scaled and trusted.

“When AI is connected to real business processes and enterprise data, it delivers measurable impact at scale.

“AI only delivers real value when it is embedded in how work gets done. Intelligence Center X brings together enterprise data with industrial ontologies and Siemens’ knowledge graph capabilities in a governed environment to empower organisations to apply AI with confidence and achieve consistent, measurable outcomes.”

Driving measurable gains

Customers are already delivering measurable results with the software, including a 95% reduction in manual effort and 85% faster production issue resolution.

Vivix Vidros Planos, a flat glass manufacturer based in Recife, Brazil, deployed a portfolio of nearly 30 Mendix applications connecting operational technology and IT data.

The company connects systems across SAP S/4HANA, Siemens Industrial Edge and Snowflake to unify its shop floor operations.

The glass manufacturer recaptured 6,000 hours of manual work in a single year, while customer complaint resolution compressed from five days to under one.

The AI-powered Virtual Engineer from Vivix Vidros Planos, built on Intelligence Center X with Amazon Bedrock and Claude from Anthropic, is now advancing toward a full digital twin strategy.

Aristóteles Terceiro Neto, Industrial Transformation Manager at Vivix Vidros Planos, says: “With this system, we are ready for the agentic future, enabling our people and AI to work together in a more connected and productive way.

“We are already seeing significant enterprise value, including up to four times faster resolution times in quality-related investigations.”

Technology distributor Axiz is also among the first enterprises globally to deploy the software as a full agentic enterprise system.

Andrew Moodley, Chief Cloud, Digital and Marketing Officer at Axiz, says: “Axiz is among the first enterprises globally to deploy Intelligence Center X as a full agentic enterprise system.

"Integrating the AI/ML modeling capabilities, application development and process orchestration for an end-to-end pricing use case, Axiz achieved a 95% reduction in manual effort and 100% accuracy in data ingestion.”

Unifying data foundations

Intelligence Center X connects industrial data across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and service into shared lifecycle intelligence.

The software works alongside existing data solutions to enable agentic workflows across the broader ecosystem.

This open approach is supported by data and cloud ecosystem partners, including Snowflake.

Amy Kodl, SVP Worldwide Alliances and Channels at Snowflake, says: “We are genuinely excited about the new capabilities Intelligence Center X brings to Snowflake customers.

“It works with their existing Snowflake data, complements capabilities like Snowflake Semantic Views and Cortex AI and shares our relentless focus on being easy, connected and trusted.”

The technology combines the Mendix low-code platform with Graph Studio and AI Studio software from the Rapidminer portfolio. This combination creates the enterprise context and orchestrated agents needed to turn Gen AI ambition into real value gains.

With full auditability and policy controls, companies can deploy AI-driven applications faster with full traceability.

The software deploys in three distinct patterns across different industries depending on organisational needs:

  • Layered on Siemens AI products to amplify lifecycle intelligence with out-of-the-box industrial ontologies
  • As a standalone platform for asset-intensive organisations running other operational technology vendors
  • As a pure agentic enterprise platform for financial services, insurance, healthcare, government and retail organisations.

Through the Intelligence Center X launch, Siemens aims to move businesses past experimental pilots, unlocking the next phase of scalable industrial AI.
