AI is having a transformative effect in all sectors of the global economy, but perhaps most impressive is its impact on healthcare.

With Hertility, a pioneering reproductive health platform, now been accepted into tech giant, NVIDIA's Inception Programme, the company has crossed a huge milestone, as announced by Founder and CEO, Dr Helen O'Neill, on LinkedIn.

This achievement positions Hertility among a global community of AI-driven companies dedicated to transforming healthcare.

With a focus on data-driven diagnostics and personalised reproductive care, Hertility is leveraging its expansive dataset to address longstanding gaps in women's health through advanced AI applications.

The gender data gap represents a significant challenge for AI development in healthcare. For decades, women have been underrepresented in clinical research, leaving healthcare solutions often based on incomplete or outdated data.

Partnering with NVIDIA, Hertility can now build a foundational AI platform designed to benefit the 51% of the global population, who have been historically underrepresented in medical research.

By creating the largest global dataset on female reproductive health, comprising more than 835,000 data variables, Hertility seeks to balance the scales.

The platform provides women with personalised insights into fertility, hormonal wellbeing and reproductive health, moving beyond generic approaches to care through machine learning algorithms.

"I'm proud to share that Hertility has been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception Programme, joining a global community of companies advancing the future of AI," says Helen in her LinkedIn announcement.

"This partnership marks an important step as we continue building towards a foundational AI platform for women's health, one designed to ensure that 51% of the world finally benefits from data-driven medicine."

"Grateful to our brilliant Data & AI team and to the NVIDIA healthcare AI group for the collaboration and shared vision. We’re only just getting started."

Building AI infrastructure for scale

Hertility's inclusion in the NVIDIA Inception Programme provides the health pioneer, access to NVIDIA's cutting-edge technology, AI expertise and global investor network. The programme is recognised for accelerating high-potential AI startups, particularly in healthcare.

Through this collaboration, Hertility aims to expand its AI capabilities, shorten diagnostic timelines and improve patient outcomes by delivering real-time, personalised solutions powered by neural networks and predictive analytics.

"At Hertility, we have modelled the impact of prevention and early diagnostics at scale," says Deirdre O'Neill, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial & Legal Officer on LinkedIn.

"The data is clear. If the world shifted to proactive reproductive and hormonal health screening, health systems could save over eight trillion in avoidable costs."

Despite being a critical healthcare sector, women's health remains significantly underfunded relative to its importance for global wellbeing and economic growth, according to the World Economic Forum.

Hertility's combination of proprietary data, AI-driven diagnostics and strategic partnerships positions it as a leader in this space.

AI-driven personalisation at scale

By creating tools that reflect the diversity of the global female population through sophisticated data models, the company is helping to ensure that women receive medical insights and care tailored to their unique biology.

With the vast resources of NVIDIA, earmarked for women and families, in its "Building Your Family" initiative, this AI-driven innovation stands to benefit. The programme offers guidance on adoption, fertility testing, in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment and surrogacy.

Women can access educational courses on IVF, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopause whilst connecting with leading fertility experts through the partnership with Inflection.
