Agentforce 360: Should AI Agents Handle Recruitement?

Adecco has signed a multi-year agreement with Salesforce as part of an ambitious target to have more than 50% of its revenues powered by agentic AI by the end of 2026.
The agreement, which runs through to 2027, provides Adecco with unlimited global access to Agentforce 360, enabling deployment at scale across its operations.
Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group, says: "The world of work is being accelerated by AI and the Adecco Group is working as a strategic partner to help guide our 100,000 clients with the strategic workforce reorganisation and people and talent strategy required to drive business impact with AI implementation.
"This agreement allows us to create real value for clients, candidates and our people."
The deployment represents a significant case study in enterprise-scale agentic AI implementation.
According to Adecco, early adoption in UK operations has already demonstrated measurable improvements, with Agentforce helping to improve time saved by 15% and reducing the time taken to fill open roles.
The technology has been integrated into key operational processes, with the company suggesting this has freed up capacity for what it describes as quality "human-human" interaction, potentially improving both client services and user experience.
Unified data architecture enables AI
Using Agentforce, Adecco has unified data across more than 30 instances and enterprise systems to create real-time candidate profiles.
This integration could provide the visibility needed to match talent faster and fuel agentic workflows across the organisation.
The technical architecture demonstrates how agentic AI systems can operate across fragmented legacy infrastructure, a common challenge for enterprise AI deployment.
The ability to consolidate and activate data from multiple sources in real-time could represent a significant advancement in how large organisations approach AI implementation at scale.
Expansion across global operations
According to the company, the next phase of development for its agentic AI capabilities will focus on adding additional agents to UK operations, as well as expanding AI implementation in France and other key strategic areas for the business.
The company has also indicated that it will extend agentic AI capabilities across nearshore and offshore hubs to improve competitiveness and fulfilment quality.
Denis says: "We continue to be the pioneer of human-centric AI implementation.
"Unlimited access to Agentforce lets us rapidly scale proven agentic AI solutions globally and across our brands.
"This will improve our service speed, quality and reliability, freeing our people to focus on the human interactions that made them choose this career."
Agentforce 360's technical capabilities
Salesforce first announced the worldwide availability of Agentforce 360 in October 2025, following a year of development and customer testing.
Made up of four main elements – building AI agents, unified data, business processes and a user interface – the platform allows agents to access unstructured data like PDFs, enabling faster extraction of information from documents.
Madhav Thattai, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Agentforce at Salesforce, says: "By moving beyond experimentation to a full-scale agentic enterprise, the Adecco Group is proving that autonomous agents can deliver the determinism and predictability needed to power a global business.
"Powered by Agentforce 360, Adecco now has the 'always-on' foundation to connect millions of job seekers with career opportunities using agents to drive 50% of their revenue by the close of 2026.
"This partnership represents Salesforce vision as humans and agents work together on a single, trusted platform to deliver business outcomes, at scale."
The deployment could offer insights into how agentic AI systems perform in high-volume, complex matching scenarios across global operations, potentially providing a blueprint for other enterprise-scale AI implementations.
