People Moves: Lucius DiPhillips, CIO at Adobe

Lucius DiPhillips has joined Adobe as Chief Information Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology and AI-driven innovation. 

In his new role, Lucius will lead Adobe’s global Technology Services team, advancing the company’s digital foundation and supporting its growth as a leader in AI-powered creativity and experience design.

Meeting global demands

As CIO, Lucius is set to play a key role in scaling Adobe’s technology infrastructure to meet growing global demands while strengthening operational efficiency and resilience. 

His leadership will focus on evolving Adobe’s enterprise architecture, modernising systems and enabling teams with powerful digital tools that drive both employee productivity and customer success.

Innovating in the AI era

Before joining Adobe, Lucius was CIO at Airbnb, where he led a global technology organisation that modernised core business platforms, accelerated AI adoption and delivered measurable improvements in performance and cost efficiency. 

His career also includes senior technology and transformation roles at eBay, PayPal, Bank of America and GE, where he built high-performing, collaborative teams across complex, regulated industries.
