Kanishk Mehta, Product Leader at Quantiphi, urges firms to take control of their Gen AI stack amid rising risks, challenges and data sovereignty concerns

Quantiphi Analytics is making the case that enterprises need to own AI infrastructure rather than relying on external platforms.

Kanishk Mehta, Product Strategy Lead at the AI consulting firm, argues that renting AI capabilities from third-party providers limits competitive advantage and creates dependency issues.

The company is developing baioniq, an agentic AI platform that operates within client infrastructure rather than external cloud environments.

Unlike mainstream platforms requiring organisations to send sensitive data to external providers, baioniq deploys behind corporate firewalls in Virtual Private Clouds that companies already control.

Kanishk says this approach addresses data sovereignty concerns while allowing organisations to retain ownership of prompts, fine-tuning datasets and model improvements.

The platform includes over 37 connectors to integrate with existing databases, cloud storage and legacy systems, functioning as an orchestration layer rather than forcing wholesale replacement of current tools.

Quantiphi reports that organisations typically see 50% gains in knowledge worker efficiency, 60% faster task automation and 80% reduction in content summarisation time after deployment.

Kanishk frames the shift as urgent, saying: “Every day you delay is a day your competitors are building advantages that will define the next decade.”
