10: Principal software engineer: $155,000

Principal software engineers provide technical guidance to development teams and oversee the technical aspects of all projects. Principal software engineers develop, document, and test software to ensure that the software meets the needs of end-users and achieves business goals. They diagnose, document, and troubleshoot systems to resolve problems, as well as implementing strategies to improve integration and efficiency.

09: Full stack developer: $108,730

Full-stack developers are experts in both the frontend and backend; so, the full-stack of technology that makes up a website. They are proficient in both frontend and backend languages and frameworks, as well as in server, network, and hosting environments.
