Saudi mining leader Maaden has announced Donovan Waller as its CTO, marking a specialised focus on artificial intelligence (AI) to fuel its digital transformation.

Donovan's expertise in AI and automation positions him to advance Maaden's technological strategies, supporting the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

Donovan's transition to Maaden comes after his impactful tenure at Anglo American, where his role as Chief Information Officer involved significant technology integration through the acclaimed FutureSmart Mining programme.
