LGâs âOne LG Solutionâ For AI Data Centre Infrastructure

It is no secret that the global AI infrastructure market is experiencing rapid expansion, with projections indicating growth.
According to Research and Markets, the market is expected to grow by 24% between 2025 and 2034, reaching a potential value of US$221.4bn.
This increase places considerable pressure on companies to develop and provide the necessary infrastructure to support such high demand.
In response, LG has presented a portfolio of advanced data centre technologies in Singapore at Data Centre World Asia (DCWA) 2025.
The strategy, named âOne LG Solutionâ, unites LG Electronics, LG CNS and LG Energy Solution to offer a comprehensive range of products and services designed for next-generation AI data centres.
This collaborative approach aims to position LG as a strategic partner for data centre operators who require efficiency, scalability and sustainability to manage the increasing worldwide demand for AI infrastructure.
LGâs unified approach to AI infrastructure
The One LG Solution combines the distinct strengths of its three businesses into a single, cohesive offering for high-performance data processing facilities.
It integrates the cooling technologies from LG Electronics with the battery systems of LG Energy Solution combined with the expertise of LG CNS in data centre design, construction and operations.
The joint venture is designed to support the operational resilience, energy efficiency and scalability of global data centres.
Core components of the solution include:
- LG CNS, an AI transformation company, leads the design, construction and operation of AI data centres and is developing an âAI Box" which integrates core infrastructure components into a compact solution.
- LG Energy Solution provides uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, using its battery technology to ensure high-reliability energy delivery for operational continuity.
- LG Electronics delivers advanced thermal solutions to meet the high-density demands of AI data centres, including high-capacity chillers and direct-to-chip (DTC) cooling.
Advanced thermal management for high-density computing
LGâs portfolio of thermal solutions directly addresses the high-density heat loads generated by AI workloads.
The company offers high-capacity chillers, direct-to-chip (DTC) cooling and computer room air handlers (CRAHs).
These are complemented by coolant distribution units (CDU) and Cold Plate technology for precise temperature control at the chip level, which is essential for the performance and efficiency of modern CPUs and GPUs.
At DCWA 2025, the unveiling highlighted LGâs thermal management technologies built for next-generation data centres.
These include a modular CDU with high-efficiency inverter pumps and water-cooled chillers that feature oil-free magnetic bearing compressors.
- LG CNS is a leading AI transformation (AX) company in South Korea, driving the design, construction and operation of next-generation AI data centres.
- The joint venture with Indonesiaâs Sinar Mas Group, LG Sinarmas Technology Solutions, the company recently secured a major contract for AI data centre development.
- The project includes the dissemination of LGâs inverter turbo chillers and other advanced cooling systems tailored for AI workloads.
- To advance its AI data centre capabilities, LG CNS is conducting proof-of-concept testing on immersion cooling, a next-generation thermal management technology.
- LG CNS has also developed the "AI Box", a compact solution which integrates all core data centre infrastructure components.
- LG Energy Solution, utilising its battery technology, provides uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems designed for high-reliability energy delivery.
- The UPS systems support data centres in maintaining operational continuity and stability, even under demanding AI workloads and variable power demands.
James Lee, President of the LG ES Company, says: âOne LG Solution is ready to reshape the global data centre landscape with future-ready solutions from LG Electronics, LG CNS and LG Energy Solution.
âWith our leading thermal management systems, intelligent operation capabilities and resilient power solutions, we can supply data centre operators with everything they need to scale efficiently in the AI era.â
Innovations in power and operational efficiency
The solutions presented under the One LG banner are further enhanced by LGâs Data Centre Cooling Management System and Digital Twin technologies.
The use of these systems could support optimised operations and enable predictive maintenance.
To advance its capabilities, LG CNS is also conducting proof-of-concept testing on immersion cooling, a next-generation thermal management technology.
These systems are supported by uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems from LG Energy Solution, which are designed to help data centres maintain stability under the variable power demands of AI workloads.
Complemented by a high-efficiency DC grid, LGâs approach could also reduce energy loss from a typical 25% to approximately 10%.
These innovations not only enhance operational stability but also support the design of sustainable, low-carbon data centres.
As rising AI workloads power the demand for more efficient, high-density infrastructure, LG positions itself as a provider of green AI data centre solutions.
