‘Model Studio: Exclusive’ offers a solution by allowing customisation, building and deployment of large language models (LLMs) and intelligent AI agents while ensuring data remains within secured environments.

This capability enables businesses to harness the power of Gen AI without losing control over critical information assets, according to Alibaba Cloud.

The platform includes integration with Alibaba’s advanced AI models such as Qwen-Max (Model of Everything), Qwen-VL (Visual Language understanding) and the Wan series for video generation through specially designed APIs.

Sean Yuan, Vice President of Alibaba Cloud International, Regional General Manager of South Pacific and Japan says: “With Model Studio: Exclusive, we are putting the power of Gen AI directly into the hands of enterprises.

“In an era where trust and compliance are non-negotiable, this platform empowers organisations to innovate responsibly,” he adds.

“Whether it’s customising foundational models or building intelligent AI agents, our customers can now do it all within their secure environments, accelerating their AI transformation with confidence.”

The platform’s tools are tailored to meet enterprise demands, providing precision data parsing for secure LLM training, automated data synthesis with quality assurance for optimized workflows and cross-modality data processing to improve model performance using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.

Furthermore, ‘Model Studio: Exclusive’ supports AI task automation, allowing AI agents to break complex objectives into clear strategies and autonomously execute tasks including data analytics, code execution and internet interactions to enhance operational efficiencies.

The importance of fostering AI talent on a global scale

Concurrently, Alibaba Cloud has launched the VISION AI+Design Career Certification, a global initiative enhancing AI-driven design skills.

Alibaba Cloud Academy

This program equips creators, designers and professionals with practical AI capabilities, focusing on creative workflows powered by AI.

The certification course, devised by the Alibaba Cloud Design Innovation Center and Alibaba Cloud Academy, trains participants on AI technologies like ComfyUI and advanced visual AI models such as Wan, preparing them for the Gen AI era.

It aims to impart industry-recognised credentials and practical expertise required to advance careers.

In addition to this, Alibaba Cloud is collaborating strategically with Telkom University in Indonesia, enhancing their commitment to developing AI talent.

Through programmes like the Academic Empowerment Program and Training Partner Program, the alliance provides students and faculty with leading cloud and AI curricula.

Together, they are working towards establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) to expedite technologies like cloud security and AI in Indonesia, aligning with national digital transformation efforts.

This move is part of ongoing collaborations with over 20 Indonesian universities, aiming to cultivate digital talent in support of these objectives.
