’s AI platform to be used by AWS’s data analytics and AI/ML platform will be used by AWS to help telecommunications companies deepen customer intimacy

Global leaders in big data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML),, has made its award-winning Customer Experience Index (CEI) solution available on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

CEI allows Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to apply machine learning to network and customer data. This enables them to assign an individual "CEI score" to each active subscriber on a mobile network.

With this score, CSPs can predict customer sentiment, improve customer satisfaction and deepen customer intimacy.

" helps CSPs make the most of machine learning to delight customers and maintain a competitive edge as the telecom operating model moves to the cloud," said Steve Preston, CEO of

"The cloud-native platform runs on-premises and in the cloud and can integrate across the extensive AWS telecom partner ecosystem to provide a dramatic value-add in 4G and 5G environments."

Utilising AI to analyse billions of events per day

The company’s CEI treats each subscriber as a “segment of one”, because of this, CSPs can use real-time data to ensure the network is meeting the needs of customers.

It also enables them to perform historical analytics to better understand the kinds of services customers prefer most.

Highlighting the success of’s CEI solution is the industry recognition it has received. This is down to its ability to analyse tens of billions of events per day to make sense of the hundreds of network-generated KPIs that can positively or negatively impact customer satisfaction.

Improving AWS with’s CEI

By running the CEI on AWS, Communications Service Providers will now be able to gain more value from their data by utilising AI. As a result, they will reap benefits including:

  • 15% decrease in the cost of retaining subscribers
  • 20% increase in upsell revenue
  • 2% reduction in customer churn

These benefits occur as a result of allowing customers to get up and running quickly and ingest data from any source.

Customers using the index can also perform real-time streaming at a massive scale, apply machine learning in highly innovative ways, and develop use cases rapidly with a no-code interface.
