One perennial question faces businesses: how do you stay agile in a constantly changing market? By itself, it's a hard enough task for senior leaders. But add in legacy technologies, complex hybrid cloud transformation programmes and the harnessing of new innovations like AI, and the need for flexibility and adaptability become even more pressing.
Tackling the challenge alone won’t bring successful transformation, not least when there are partners like Ensono available. The Illinois-headquartered company is an expert technology advisor, innovation partner and managed services provider that serves organisations across industries and geographies looking to optimise, evolve and innovate.
It does so through an approach centred around 'relentless allyship', a philosophy that brings together broad experience and deep expertise with transparency, flexibility and a dedication to disrupting the status quo.
"Three things set us apart in how we approach creating a path from legacy to modernisation," says Vineet Kapoor, SVP – Infrastructure. "We're not a consulting company. We don't come in, talk about spreadsheets, powerpoints or strategies then leave the client with a bunch of paperwork.
"We start with a very blue collar approach to the work, solving the problems the client has at hand from the off to enable them the space and capability to focus on their business," he says. “Our entire model is built around this method – our goal is to start delivering measurable outcomes from day one.
"We then focus on creating a path for generating real, sustainable value for IT and the business to get them on the path to modernisation, before working together on how we build a longer-term and forward-thinking strategy around legacy decoupling."
Vineet leads this work, having been with Ensono for close to five years. In his role he heads up the company’s infrastructure business globally, overseeing strategy, operation and transformation across hybrid IT platforms.
It’s an area he has considerable expertise in. With around 32+ years’ experience in the tech sector, his career spans leadership roles at major organisations including Aon, JP Morgan Chase, General Electric Ericsson and more. He brings to Ensono a deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud modernisation, with a deep focus on operational excellence that helps clients navigate complexity with confidence.
“I’ve learned over the years that the critical success factor is aligning technology to business outcomes,” he says, discussing how the sector has evolved over his career. “In order to do that you need to foster resilient teams, embrace change and be open to technology and IT becoming a strategic enabler rather than a support function.
“For technology, the goal has definitely shifted from providing enterprise-wide support and functional responsibilities to being more of a strategic enabler,” says Vineet. “A strategic enabler in my enterprise roles was largely for the internal businesses, but here at Ensono, we're always looking at what we can do differently for our clients. Our focus is on finding ways to deliver scalable and future-ready solutions that empower our clients so we can innovate together.”
