Nitin Chavan, Senior Director and Cloud Champion
Nitin Chavan is Senior Director and Cloud Champion with IBM and Red Hat Hybrid Cloud
Center of Excellence at Capgemini Financial Services. He focuses on helping
customers adopt hybrid cloud solutions using the IBM and Red Hat ecosystem including Z
system modernization. He has 21 years of experience in providing technology solutions and
has led multiple large transformation engagements for application and data modernization
for financial customers.
Nitin is also recognized as IBM Champion for 2023 and 2024 for his contributions to
advocacy for IBM Z systems.
Pete McCaffrey, Principal Product Management
Pete McCaffrey is a Principal Product Management GTM lead for IBM Z Software. He is
responsible for driving IBM’s mainframe application modernization strategy and supporting
go-to-market including partnerships with GSIs and public cloud providers.
Pete joined IBM in 1982 and has over 40 years of IT industry experience in product
management and marketing across IBM Infrastructure, Software, and Services.
