Future-proofing Agencies with Digital Verification

In the United States, agencies are preparing to activate the newly expanded benefit eligibility requirements mandated by H.R. 1, a federal law designed to further strengthen program integrity, including reducing error rates and improving accuracy, that goes into effect on January 1, 2027. Agencies will be required to verify income every six months rather than once a year, significantly increasing the amount of work agencies must perform to determine eligibility.
