CoreWeave, a firm that provides a cloud platform of software powering next-generation AI, has announced the appointment of Sandy Venugopal as its Chief Information Officer. In this role Venugopal, who previously served as CIO at SentinelOne, will have responsibility for leading the company’s IT and digital transformation strategy and developing a robust foundation that supports its hyper growth and scaling needs. She will also be responsible for liaising with clients to ensure CoreWeave delivers state-of-the-art, reliable products and solutions.

Venugopal brings more than 20 years’ experience to CoreWeave, including in digital transformation and technology leadership-focused positions. She has a notable track record for driving innovation and operational excellence, and has overseen growth at global enterprises. 

Prior to taking the role at CoreWeave, Venugopal served as CIO at SentinelOne, designing and delivering IT and data strategies that underpinned the company’s growth. She built a team that enhanced employee and customer productivity, and launched a data infrastructure and insights platform that improved data-driven decision making. Venugopal has also held roles at Uber Technologies Inc. and LinkedIn Corporation. She currently serves on the board of the Adecco Group.
