Kyndryl and Microsoft collaborate on enterprise AI programme

Kyndryl and Microsoft have joined forces to accelerate generative AI adoption within key businesses and unlock new areas of innovation

Technology infrastructure provider Kyndryl has collaborated with Microsoft to speed up the evaluation and adoption of enterprise-grade generative AI for businesses.

The company’s consult-led AI readiness program has been launched to assist customers in exploring generative AI use cases in their organisations. A joint effort with Microsoft aims to enable the adoption of enterprise-grade generative AI solutions for businesses as part of the Microsoft Cloud.

WIth Kyndryl’s access to Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure Open AI Service and Microsoft Fabric, the two companies seek to design and develop new generative AI innovations and solutions across their enterprises.

Microsoft continuing its commitment to advancing AI-readiness

Microsoft continues to invest in AI technology as it becomes increasingly integral to businesses across a wide range of sectors. This commitment to AI services confirms the transformative power of AI.

To further the advancement of new AI capabilities, Kyndryl is also committing to utilise the Kyndryl University for Microsoft to educate thousands of Kyndryl employees on new Microsoft AI technologies.

The company is also launching an AI-readiness program within Kyndryl Consult that is dedicated to exploring the adoption of generative AI solutions. Kyndryl experts will help new and existing customers build a trusted data foundation and navigate the complexity of using new generative AI technologies.

Kyndryl aims to leverage deep domain and enterprise-grade AI expertise to help customers consider some of the benefits of generative AI in key areas of industry.

Customers will be able to utilise Kyndryl Vital and the Microsoft and Kyndryl Joint Innovation Centres to explore and create custom use cases and identify ways to find generative AI use cases within their businesses. This will subsequently provide valuable data and generative AI insights.

The strategic partnership with Microsoft is Kyndryl’s first global strategic alliance upon becoming an independent public company. Both companies continue to unlock new areas of innovation that drive better business outcomes for customers and tap into revenue opportunities in fast-growing areas such as data modernisation, governance and AI.

“Together with Kyndryl, we have a shared vision to responsibly enable our customers to jointly explore, design and deploy generative AI solutions across their enterprises, and to do it in a way that enables them to realise business value,” said Stephen Boyle, GM Global Partner Solutions, Microsoft.

“As a leader in the delivery of generative AI and data platforms, we believe partners such as Kyndryl are critical to the successful use of emerging technologies for business.”
