EY's latest AI offering utilises NVIDIA technology
EY & NVIDIA collaborate on a new agentic solution to transform contract management & operational efficiency in the telco sector at MWC Barcelona 2025

EY has recently unveiled an innovative suite of artificial intelligence agents at MWC Barcelona 2025, designed to overhaul the way telecommunications providers handle and manage their network vendor contracts.

The centrepiece of this new suite, known as EY Telecom.ai, is the Contract Intelligence (CI) agent.

This tool is engineered to automate the meticulous job of extracting and analysing critical data from the numerous contracts that telecommunication networks operate under.

β€œBusinesses need strong AI-ready data foundations to enable the next frontier of AI,” says Richard Clough, Chief Data Officer at EY, via LinkedIn.

He further explains that this suite of solutions is tailored to optimise the extraction, analysis, and reporting of key structured and unstructured data.

This, in turn, is set to transform time-intensive data gathering into a streamlined, efficient, and AI-empowered decision-making process.

Addressing the contract complexity in telecom

Telecommunication providers are currently navigating through a phase of network modernisation and are faced with the daunting task of managing thousands of vendor contracts.

These contracts are critical as they include essential details such as service levels, technical specifications, and cost structures, which are crucial for the smooth operation of network services.

Traditional contract management practices are often insufficient, leading to prolonged and error-prone manual reviews.

EY's Telecom.ai solution innovatively addresses these challenges by introducing a structured and robust approach to managing these complex agreements.

The details of EY's Telecom.ai

EY Telecom.ai is developed on cutting-edge NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and incorporates various advanced NVIDIA technologies.

These include NIM microservices, NeMo Retriever, NeMo Guardrails, and NVIDIA Blueprints that utilise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enabling efficient large-scale contract processing and providing real-time insights into contractual obligations and metrics.

The suite also features a conversational AI interface for easier querying of contracts, automates the analysis of financial and legal stipulations and scenario supports and financial modelling for potential suppliers.

This array of tools not only enhances operational efficiency but also adds depth to the financial and strategic planning capabilities of telecom companies.
