Partners& launches an AR cyber security information portal
Leading cyber security advisor Partners& have created this portal, which can be accessed via a QR code or URL, to help mitigate cyber security risks. The portal works as an exhibition stand for the company’s features and once inside people are greeted Partners& risk management partner Matthew Clark, a 3D hologram virtual concierge.
Partners& is a Chartered insurance broker that provides specialist insurance, employee benefits, risk management and claims advice to businesses and private clients. With its expertise in cyber security, the company are adding to its portfolio of services with this cyber security information portal.
“The threats posed by cyber risk aren’t limited to companies and organisations anymore. Families and individuals are coming to terms with identity theft, online fraud and privacy breaches too,” said Clark.
“As an advice-led consultancy, we’ve developed CyberSpace, a rich source of advice, tools, risk management and insurance products, designed to help our clients to keep their families safe online, as well as protecting their businesses against cyber intrusion,” he continued.
Mitigating cyber security risk with the help of AR
Allowing for guest interaction, Clark answers questions and guides visitors to different area of the portal. This virtual concierge element of Partners&’s portal is thought to be the first of its kind in the augmented reality (AR) sector.
Partners& marketing manager, Millie Smith, who developed the concept said: “I knew if we were talking about cutting edge issues like cyber risk and security, we needed to be presenting it in a way that showed we were comfortable in a high-tech environment. We’re dealing with fast-moving, ever-changing issues here and AR felt like the right medium to deliver that message to our clients.”
Designed to be a source of information for those who access it, the portal includes videos, fact sheets and downloadable information. All this information is placed to help keep families and businesses safe from all forms of cyber-attack and the insurance products available to mitigate such risks.
